Hand-blown in Murano, Italy during the mid-20th century, this vase was designed by Dino Martens (1894–1970), the visionary artist celebrated for pushing the boundaries of Venetian glass. As artistic director for Aureliano Toso, Martens became known for his innovative forms and technically demanding designs — many of which are now highly sought after by collectors.
